Thousands of Egyptians have suffered at the hands of President Mubarak’s security forces for peacefully demanding political reform. Now, we’re hearing from our partners on the ground that Egyptians need an overwhelming show of global solidarity to give them the strength, determination and resolve to carry on.

Join Saturday’s global day of solidarity and send a powerful message to the people of Egypt: we stand with you; you deserve to have your voice heard; you deserve human rights.

Actions will be taking place across the world – including a large demonstration in Trafalgar Square in London, actions in the USA and Australia cities of Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

Show your solidarity with the people of Egypt by wearing black, white or red (the colours of the Egyptian flag).
