Julian Assange inspires attention because he is a natural communicator and collaborator. Assange is open and forthright, engaged and empathetic. His terminolgy is particularly enlightening as it reveals a side of his character that is not driven by egoism as his critics suggest. Whenever Assange speaks about issues or experiences that concern him alone, he uses the singular ‘I’ and when he speaks on things that involves the work he does in collaboration with others such as his new TV program and Wikileaks, he consistently acknowledges the input and endeavour of his colleagues by using the collective ‘we’.
